I was waiting for something to drop to be the club banger to take us out of the summer and into the fall. This may just be it.

My homie Mike Avedon is shooting portraits for a project for the Avedon Foundation, a foundation for his grandfather, legendary photographer Richard Avedon. He asked me to be involved.

This Saturday was the LOLA art gallery opening in Southampton so I stopped by with Alex (CBD). I managed to take a few shots with my phone before I dipped. Show’s dope, stop by and peep when in town.

Whats good people. Long time no talk, sorry my rants and alcohol fueled tyraids have been few and far between recently been real busy working and partying my face off as only one can do in the Hamptons. Anyway, I usually hate music videos but the two most recent releases have been on point. First dropping last night, Cudi,Yeezy, and Common’s “Poke-Her Face/Make Her Say”:

And Jay’s attempt at being Tony Soprano in his latest creation “D.O.A.”:

and if you dont think he’s trying to be the best capo to ever grace the silver screen you tell me what Jay is doing in famous Italian eatery “Rao’s” and playing cards in the back room with Harvey Kaitel and the head chef. Regardless Jay kills it with the jump cuts from the studio to Rao’s to the panoramic clips of Jay standing across the river and the slow motion explosions of the sterotypes i.e. bottles of Crystal and “iced out” “bling”. Oh yea and a pick-up game with Lebron for a little extra something. The cameos in this video are just as bad as name dropping and thats my only problem with it otherwise its a great video. 

As we near the last month of the summer the posts will begin to start rolling again. And once I get back to Boston come September I will be back ranting, raving, and being generally irate for no apparent reason on a regular basis.
