April 23rd, 2009 by PJ Monte

We have recently acquired a few more members to the DON family. Drew Verderame and Dan Decamillo, have begun representing the family and bringing DON into the skate world heavy. Expect to see them at contests across New York, and in your town this summer, posting stickers on your mailbox and fucking up your city halls rails.

All shots were taken by Seth Coleman.

CITI FIELD – OPENING DAY

April 16th, 2009 by PJ Monte

As a die hard Mets fan, I was lucky enough to score some tickets to opening day of the new Citi Field. Definitely an improvement over Shea, but I’m always gonna miss the 30 layers of thick blue paint on every surface of that old stadium, and buying the cheapest tickets but getting hooked up and actually sitting front row thanks to some great ushers (shout out to Vinny and John). But the new stadium has a Shake Shack and a restaurant in left field owned by the same guys as Nobu and Tribeca Grille, so I can’t complain.
